grass clippingsOrganic fertilizers can be wildly expensive. Can you suggest some lower-cost options?

Many good, inexpensive organic fertilizer alternatives are available. In fact, your fertilizer can be free! Grass clippings are 2 to 5 percent nitrogen and make an excellent fertilizer. Just be sure you collect them from lawns that have not been treated with herbicides.

If you aren’t able to get grass clippings, then your best buy will probably be large bags of alfalfa meal from a farm store. See a chart that compares the prices of various organic fertilizer types and brands online at Build Better Soil With Free Organic Fertilizer!.

If you’d like to make your own blended organic fertilizer, we recommend a recipe developed by Steve Solomon, author of Gardening When It Counts — find the recipe at A Better Way to Fertilize Your Garden: Homemade Organic Fertilizer. You can also make homemade liquid fertilizer by following our instructions at Free, Homemade Liquid Fertilizers.

Organic fertilizer plays a vital role in our farming sector and has a great value increasing the productivity. Farmers found several types of fertilizer having different composition at different coast. The coast vary from one sore to other. We have to know where we find best quality in a reasonable price. you can visit the below link for better fertilizer with a low coast. http://www.gsplantfoods.com/

Alfalfa meal is a fantastic fertilizer - it can be pretty expensive, but we get ours online at this link: http://www.kelp4less.com/shop/alfalfa-meal/. It's only $12.95 for two pounds. Also, I really like their lawn mix - we used it on our grass this year (we live in southeast Idaho) and it looks fantastic, which is really hard because we have such a huge temperature fluctuation between the day and night. Anyway, here is the link for the lawn mix, too - http://www.kelp4less.com/?s=lawn+mix&submit.x=-995&submit.y=-290.

There is no better fertilizer than Nature Safe fertilizers in my opinion. I have used them for years! Made from quality raw ingredients. They have been around for a long time and have proven themself.
