1. To help cut flowers stay fresh longer, add one tablespoon sugar and one drop of bleach to a quart of water. The bleach helps fight bacteria, and the sugar provides energy to the flowers.
2. If your knife has a spot of rust on it, stick the knife into an onion for 30 minutes and the spot will disappear.
