(4] Lay out the uprights again, this time across sawhorses. Put the rungs in place and lay the second pair of uprights atop them. Now drill a 114-inch hole through each joint of rung and uprights. Fasten the joints with 2-112-inch by 114-inch machine bolts, each with two washers.
[5] After the ladder is completely assembled, trim off the excess rung material.
