Andrea and Francie correct

I was able to spend some time this week with my cows, which doesn't happen often enough. Since I have been traveling quite a bit lately, they are staying at my friend, Cecil's ranch, in Clifton Texas. Faith really loves being there because it is her mother, Hope's, home also. Every time I drop the cows off, Faith makes a beeline for Hope and they stay together for days.

Anyone who says that cows do not have feelings has not seen my bovines!

BTW, Faith is very pregnant and will probably give birth any day, so I am glad that she is close to her mom. Her condition was somewhat accidental. I think the Angus bull from down the road came for a visit about nine months ago. So the other day, I was attempting to take Faith's picture when Francie nudged me from behind. "What about me?" she seemed to say.

I handed the camera to Cecil and reached down to pet her. Francie thinks that she is still a calf (all 1,000 pounds of her) and she bowed her head like she used to do when she was small. I knealt down and she plopped her massive jaw on my knee, wanting a head-scratch. Cecil then snapped this photo. I think she nearly fell asleep — notice her eyes drooping.
